Thank you for participating in our study. We would like to extend to one more week if possible. That would be great!
This time, let make it interesting. Share what you have for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This will give April a better understanding of what you are eating, not only lunch but on daily base. You can pick three days to blog on your food log. It can be Monday-Wednesday, Tuesday-Thursday, or Wednesday-Friday. Then April will comment on your individual and overall diet.

monday i ate... Turkey n cheez on crackers , and a Yo-Crunch (vanilla yogurt w/ M&Ms)
tuesday i ate... Popcorn chicken and a (yummy) breadstick and grapes
wednesday i ate... PB&J , pretzels , and an oatmeal raisin granola bar

Sounds like you are definitely trying to make your school lunch healthy everyday. I know sometimes it might not be the easiest thing to do! The fruit, yogurt, and granola are all perfect choices over a candy snack!

Monday I had pizza =/, salad with ranch dressing, and mized fruit.
Tuesday I had popcorn chicken which was not at its best, a breadstick, salad with ranch dressing, and pears. yummm.
Then today I had turky tetrezzini which is probably spelled horribly wrong, a roll, mashed potatoes, and peaches. =)

Haha don't worry about the spelling. I'm sure your mized fruit was meant to be mixed fruit. What I loved most about your daily choices is that you made sure you had some fruit or vegetable with every meal. Keep it up!

On Monday I had grilled chicken, mixed fruit, and white milk.
Yesterday [Tuesday] I had popcorn chicken with a breadstick, mixed vegetables, grapes, and milk.
And today [Wednesday] I had turkey tetrazini [or however the heck you spell it] with a roll, mashed potatoes, peaches, and white milk.

Sounds like you are doing well keeping up with a well balanced meal for lunch. All protein, fruit, vegetables, and dairy are very important! I'm curious to what kind of milk you had? Skim or possibly 2%?

On Friday I had ravioli which was mushy, a breadstick, and peaches which were delicious.

Well I'm sorry your ravoli was mushy, I hope it wasn't too horrible. Glad to here they aren't allowing an unlimited breadstick deal like at Olive Garden! One and the ravoli is a perfect about of carbohydrates for one meal. Peaches are one of my favorite fruits too! I wonder if they gave you fresh peaches or canned, that does make a difference.
